Mr Robert Mahlik retired from Fortive Corporation in January 2025, where he served as a founding executive leader since its inception in 2016. In his most recent role, he was responsible for the global supply chain and procurement function, spanning 20 operating companies. He led initiatives focused on margin expansion, working capital improvement, and revenue growth, resulting in innovative supply chain solutions that consistently outperformed quality, delivery, and cost objectives. In addition to overseeing all direct material purchases and product engineering initiatives, Mr Mahlik managed both inbound and outbound logistics, as well as indirect spend across all general and administrative functions. He ensured that effective supply agreements and processes were in place to support Fortive’s diverse operational needs.
Prior to Fortive, Mr Mahlik held similar leadership roles at Danaher and AT&T. With over 40 years of operations experience, he has worked across the computing, telecommunications, and industrial sectors at companies including NCR Corporation, AT&T, AT&T Wireless, Fluke Corporation, Danaher, and Fortive.
Mr Mahlik holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Production Operations and Materials Management from Arizona State University and completed his Executive Education at Dartmouth. He has also served as Chair of the Supply Chain Council at the Manufacturers Alliance, Chair of the Thought Leadership Committee for the Institute for Supply Management, and as a member of the U.S. Bank Customer Advisory Board.
