R&D Electronics Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of a wide range of state-of-the-art products for the global markets, from conceptualization to mass production and eventually seeing the products in the market.

Responsibilities.

  • Innovate and Create value for the Next Generation of advanced complex system
  • Develop and design electronics architecture, circuits, and systems for meeting future product specifications
  • Brainstorm and  Contribute Out of Box solutions to create value for businesses and customers
  • Conduct system analysis to achieve optimized design solutions to meet design specifications, project schedules and cost targets.
  • Ensure design meets all regulatory requirements
  • Participate in technical discussions and presentation of design solutions to customer
  • Coordinate the fabrication, assembly, and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Author of specifications, requirements, and validation plans for the design module assigned
  • Work with the Manufacturing team and suppliers throughout the product cycle in a fast-paced environment
  • Development and design opportunities in one or more of the following areas:
  • Embedded microprocessor system design
  • Medical product design
  • IO standards and protocols such as USB, IR, LAN, Blue tooth, etc
  • Power electronics – DC-DC, AC-DC converter, etc
  • Analog–sensing technologies, signal conditioning, etc
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company

Requirements.

  • Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • Experienced in embedded microprocessor system design, power management electronics, and small signal analog design
  • Experienced in Product Development
  • Knowledge of PC architecture, High-Speed IO Bus protocols (such as DDR, FSB, PCI-X), signal integrity techniques, and high-speed hardware design
  • Good understanding of product safety, environmental testing, and EMC advantageous
  • Knowledge of electronic fundamentals and principles
  • Experience in medical product compliance standards such as ISO13485, is an added advantage
  • Simulation tools & programming skills (eg. PSpice, Python) are added advantage
  • Team player with keen interest and passion in product design
