Engineering Assistant (Test Equipment / Debug).
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Engineers to perform evaluation, NPI builds, failure analysis, test improvement, calibration, set-up, and repair of test equipment & fixtures.
Responsibilities.
- Lead the non-exempt staff on all test-related activities, Yield Improvement, day-to-day debug activities, Tester maintenance
- Lead a group of Test Technician to ensure compliance with quality standards, company guidelines & procedures whilst providing necessary support to production
- Train and be ready to take up more products with the technicians
- Supervise & plan work schedules for Technicians/Technical Operators Constantly improve test yield via CIP activities
- Validate & maintain test equipment in good condition
- Participate in product transfer activities & NPI support
- Maintain minimum debug WIP through test yield improvements & resource management
- Constantly look for better test efficiencies to improve the test yield
- Ensure PM & backup are carried out per schedule
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the company
Requirements.
- Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Computer Engineering, and/or equivalent field
- Minimum2 years of experience in a box-build and PCBA environment
- Experience in Test Equipment maintenance and debugging for RF products
- Result-oriented team player
