Product Support Technician

Location: United States, California, Newark

Responsibilities:

Product support of industrial digital imaging hardware, data capture product and related software products.
The candidate is expected to be able to handle the support of clients over the phone, as well as repair and setup of equipment and software.
Front line phone support for customers and employees
Interface with Tech manager in order to feed back issues or bugs as they come across them in their day to day work.
Input and tracking of customer interaction through CRM
Training will be provided.
Essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)


Requirements:

The majority of these are activities are office based, however candidate may be required to travel to client sites if required (5% to 10%).
Presentation skills and the ability to explain complex systems so anon-technical person can easily understand them.
Will be required to repair, refurbish, quality check and test products
