Product Support Technician

Location: United States, California, Newark
• Product support of industrial digital imaging hardware, data capture product and related software products.
• The candidate is expected to be able to handle the support of clients over the phone, as well as repair and setup of equipment and software.
• Front line phone support for customers and employees
• Interface with Tech manager in order to feed back issues or bugs as they come across them in their day to day work.
• Input and tracking of customer interaction through CRM
• Training will be provided.
• Essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
• The majority of these are activities are office based, however candidate may be required to travel to client sites if required (5% to 10%).
• Presentation skills and the ability to explain complex systems so anon-technical person can easily understand them.
• Will be required to repair, refurbish, quality check and test products
