Advertisement and Electronic-mail Hoax

Venture Corporation Limited (the "Company" or "Venture") and its subsidiaries (together, the "Group") has become aware that its company name, trade name and address are being used without permission in connection with the sales and trading of iPhone via web-based advertisements and electronic mails. These advertisements and electronic mails are NOT created, authorised or distributed by the Group. Please also be advised that neither Venture nor its affiliates are sponsors of or in any other way associated with these programmes.

The Group takes very seriously any reports of suspicious or fraudulent activities, including reports of internet fraud or identity theft involving the unauthorised use of its company name, trade name and address. Appropriate actions have already been taken to prevent further fraudulent activities against the Group.

Please do not respond to these advertisements and correspondences. If you have already responded, you are advised to immediately discontinue all communications with any of the individuals associated with this hoax. To help the Group in its investigation, you may send any correspondence that you already have in your possession to company-secretary@venture.com.sg.
